A clear path to your perfect smile
Would you like to improve your smile—to get the smile you've always wanted, a smile that you can show off and be proud of?
If you are not happy with how your teeth look and/or function, and feel that this has a negative impact on your life, this can be changed—painlessly and affordably—with our Invisalign range of teeth straightening treatments.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a method of straightening your teeth using sets of virtually invisible plastic trays, or aligners, that fit over your teeth. They are customised to your individual dental contour using digital technology.
Invisalign clear aligners do not have any wires or brackets. They are barely noticeable and nurture your teeth into the desired position, slowly, comfortably and as planned at consultation. This process corrects issues such as a bite, crooked teeth, spacing, arch profile and overcrowding.
How long this takes depends on the type of Invisalign treatment our dentist judges will achieve the best results. You wear the aligners for 22 hours a day, and they are removable so you can eat, brush, floss and generally live as normal.
Invisalign is an alternative to traditional braces—also known as fixed braces.

Types of Invisalign
We offer a range of Invisalign treatment plans that can be tailored to your individual dental profile:
This is for very minor teeth straightening. It takes up to 3 months and 7 aligner trays are used.
This is for teeth that need moderate straightening. It takes between 5 and 6 months and 10-14 aligners are used to move all teeth.
This is for mild to moderate misalignment of the front 10 teeth. It takes 3 to 9 months and uses up to 20 aligners. This system is supported by patented SmartTrack and SmartForce features, which deliver more on-target teeth movement and better comfort.
Invisalign Go Plus
This corrects moderate misalignment in the front 12 teeth. It uses a course of up to 26 aligners and takes 6 to 12 months to complete.
This course is for more complex/severe teeth straightening. It takes 7 months to 2 years to complete and as many aligners as necessary are used.
What will Invisalign do for me?
Invisalign brings many orthodontic and oral health benefits:
Improved oral health
The metal wires and brackets of traditional fixed braces often trap food, which can lead to plaque and tooth decay. Invisalign clear dental braces are made of plastic and are removable, which means you can brush and floss as normal to maintain good oral hygiene. Straighter teeth are less susceptible to tooth decay and gum disease, so investing in a straighter smile now could minimise the need for costly dental work in the future.
Healthier teeth and gums
Crowded or widely spaced teeth can result in red, swollen gums—a sure sign of periodontal disease. When teeth are properly aligned, the gums fit securely around the teeth, creating a strong defence against periodontal problems. After your Invisalign treatment you may find improvements in your overall gum health.
Moving even when you’re not
As the Invisalign system discreetly guides your teeth into place, your life can continue as normal. The aligners follow your unique gum line so you can comfortably wear them for the recommended 22 hours a day. Even when you’re not moving, your teeth will be!
Live your life just as you like
Invisalign clear aligners are removable, so you can continue to live as you normally do, from brushing and flossing to eating whatever you like. And because they are nearly invisible, people are more likely to notice your changing smile than the aligners themselves.
Big changes from small movements
It won’t take long until you notice a big difference in your smile. Your Invisalign aligners are custom-made with proprietary SmartTrack material. They fit snugly over your teeth and are clinically proven to improve control of movement, gently moving your teeth and even rotating them if needed.

What can I expect from an Invisalign treatment?
Every treatment follows 4 stages. Your clinician will advise how long your course is expected to take, based on your requirements.
STAGE 1 - YOUR FREE SMILE ASSESSMENT
Your treatment journey will start with a FREE in-person consultation with one of our Treatment Coordinators who will discuss with you your requirements and concerns.
You then receive a FREE state-of-the-art iTero 3D digital scan using a hand-held wand. No impressions or moulds are used which makes the whole experience more comfortable for you.
The images help you see what your teeth could look like. Quick, fast and pain-free, it helps you—and everyone involved in your treatment—see exactly what’s going on and what needs to be done to achieve your perfect dental profile.
If you’re happy to continue with the Invisalign journey we’ll then arrange for you to meet with one of our Dentists.
STAGE 2 – MEET WITH YOUR DENTIST
This is the beginning or your hands-on Invisalign relationship.
Your dentist will carry out an orthodontic examination to ensure that you are clinically suitable and fit for treatment. If all the boxes are ticked, they will recommend any pre-treatment work, such as an appointment with one of our hygienists.
With your approval, we schedule a Clincheck appointment where your assigned dentist digitally plans the treatment.
STAGE 3 – INVISALIGN TREATMENT START DATE
Welcome to the start of your Invisalign treatment. Here we will gain your consent to start your journey.
We will then explain the next steps in your Invisalign treatment plan and work with you to establish timescales. We will also confirm your treatment package cost which will include:
- As many aligners as needed to reach your new smile
- As many appointments as you need with your dentist
- Telephone consultation and support
- Before and after photographs/scans
- Complimentary dental health advice with the Oral Health Educator
- Interim scans to assess progress and confirm your teeth are tracking on schedule
Your digital teeth and jaw images are then sent to the Invisalign lab where sets of clear aligners are crafted to your unique dental profile. Each set has minimal changes that are designed to move your teeth gradually into position.
STAGE 4 – INVISALIGN ALIGNER COLLECTION AND FITTING
Within a month, your Invisalign aligners will be at the practice and ready for you. Your appointment will be to fit them and explain what you need to know as your teeth straightening begins.
You will be provided with a series of aligners to fit approximately every 4 weeks. You can do this at home and your dentist will monitor your progress closely, with regular reviews—until the day arrives when you leave your aligners behind for good and walk out of our surgery with the smile you want. As we promised.
If you have any concerns during the treatment period, our support team is always available.

Is Invisalign painless?
Whichever option is the most suited to your smile makeover, we promise you that it will be totally pain free. There may be some slight discomfort when a new aligner is fitted—but not for long! All that’s required from you is faith, patience and perseverance!
What is the cost of Invisalign treatment?
As a general rule the cost for adults is comparable to traditional fixed braces and is typically between £2,500 and £5,500, although if only minor tooth movement is required, prices could start from £1,500.

If you are looking online for an Invisalign provider, we do not recommend mail order providers. Although they may seem valid and economical, they are not.
The aligners may be poorly fitted. Your teeth may move slower or faster than predicted—or not at all. You could develop cavities or gum disease. Your teeth may end up worse than they started.
We cannot stress this enough: Invisalign needs a trained, experienced clinician to manage, in person, your treatment from start to finish. No treatment is preferable to an unsupervised service.
